For High Speed Lines

STMicroelectronics ESD Protection for High Speed Lines, HSP series, are formed with ESD arrays with rail-to-rail architecture designed specifically for the protection of high-speed differential lines. The ultra-low variation of the capacitance ensures very low influence on signal-skew. The wide bandwidth makes the HSP series compatible with USB-C™, USB 3.1 and HDMI 2.0. The 2-, 4- and 8-line HSP devices are fully compliant with IEC 61000-4-2 level 4. Voltage spikes are clamped down to 13V, protecting all ESD-sensitive interface controllers against ESD events. PCB layout is simplified and time to market minimized thanks to flow-through topology.

  • Ultra-wide bandwidth: 4.6 to 8.7GHz
  • Ultra-low capacitance: 0.3 to 0.6pF
  • Low leakage current: 70 to 100nA at 25°C
  • Extended operating junction temperature range: -40°C to 150°C
